Snapshots
by Tom Halpin
This is a one off, hand made roll-fold book; the format of the book reflects the story being told. Once the book opens the pages roll open on as if the story is telling itself.
Snapshots portray the memories of a man growing up in Co. Louth in the 1950's.
It is a beautiful description of a young boys memory of his family. Depicting his surroundings and the return of his Grandfather from New York.
The book is accompanied with an array of family photos that range from the 1930's to the 1990's. Images of growing up in rural Ireland as a child.
Imagery depicting a Grandfather who had lived in New York separated from his wife and family for over 20 years.
